I am so lucky to love my job and to love so many things about it. Today, I hope to share with you just a few of the many reasons why I love working at Finally Home Services.
The People
I think any business owner, hopefully, would say that the thing they love most is working with the people that they get to serve within their business. That is a given for our business, and genuinely from my heart, I love the people that we get to move and work for.
The heartbeat of Finally Home Services is the people that I get to work with, the team! They are the most genuine, kind, caring, and smart ladies that I know. I thank God daily for them, and I know I am very fortunate to have them working alongside me. It’s a tie between serving our clients and working with my team, but when I think about what I really love most, it’s the ladies that I get to work with.
The Pressure
I know that this probably sounds crazy, but I love the pressure of moving and timelines. I do have to cover my gray hairs monthly…There is a lot of stress involved with the logistics of moving, packing, and timelines. In a weird way, I am wired to thrive off of stress, and I love it. I think that stress has a negative connotation, but I flourish under pressure. Bring it on!
The Flexibility
I could go on and on about the things that I love about my job, but the last thing that I will share is the flexibility. Our business will have weeks where we are very busy and work hard for a spurt of time, and then we will have weeks that are lighter. I like to say that we run, then we walk, then we run, then we walk. It is wonderful for my family that I can run a business and still be able to pick them up from school at 3:00. Being able to craft my entire calendar is something I love about my job.
I love my job for so many reasons. Certainly, the people I work for and with are first. That is always what I lead with. I love the stress and pressure of my job, and I am so grateful for the flexibility of my job, too! Happy Moving!
